OPEN HOUSE CERTIFICATION COURSE
We will be hosting an Open House Certification Course during our regular Thrive time on July 11, 2023 in Suntree. This is geared toward agents in business 1 day or 50 years !!! We have refreshed information, ideas and suggestions to help you as a listing agents who hosts open houses yourself OR those that hose other's listings. Don't miss this one!!
In the meantime, lets go over some basics.
LISTING AGENTS
Only offer up homes that are in tip top shape and "Open House Ready" so that we are putting our best foot forward.
Be sure to add the Open House in the MLS by Friday @ 9am, to be included in the advertising.
Add the Contact information for the agent hosting the Open House
Verify details with the Host of the open house if another agent is hosting ahead of time
Be sure Pets are handled for the Open House
Verify showing instructions / gate instructions / anything the host needs to know for a successful day
Provide Sellers Disclosures and HOA or Condo Docs and any updates you want highlighted to the host
HOSTING AGENTS
Preview the house a few days prior to the Open House - prepare for any gate issues etc
Prepare an Open House specific flyer with your contact information and retrieve sellers disclosures, updates etc. For condos be sure to have the basic condo information and FAQ ready for visitors. -Laura S can handle your flyer, post and story for you with our Open House Package - $20
Do your homework on surrounding homes for sale in case visitors want a "bigger house" "more updates" etc.... So you can speak to it during the open house
Come early to the open house and install lots of signs and directionals
Have your sign-in sheet ready and scripts ready for a great day!
