You asked and we heard you. Post Closing Occupancies are a necessary evil to get a transaction to closing.
Be sure to use Addendum U Post Closing Occupancy. This creates a contingency to close based on a mutually agreed upon agreement for the post occupancy. It also addresses Paragraph 11 and 12 beyond closing.
For short term occupancy many have asked for an alternative to the full lease. We have a new Post Settlement Occupancy Form that is an abbreviated one page document for short occupancy post closing.
