Marketing to Last - This is your SIGN

Understanding the significance of listing signs is like appreciating a good cup of coffee in the morning - we all know it's essential, but do we really grasp its true value? Let's dig a little deeper and explore the 'caffeine' of real estate: your listing signs.

First impressions count, and your signs are often the introductory handshake to potential clients. They might catch sight of your sign while out on a neighborhood stroll, at an open house, or even during their daily commute. These signs are your silent salespeople, constantly pitching your services. So here's a handy checklist to ensure your signs stand out from the crowd:

  • Placement: A well-placed sign is like a well-tailored suit - it commands attention. So, ensure your sign is prominently placed in a well-maintained area. Want to add a dash of 'wow' to your signs? Try a subtle solar spotlight. This way, day or night, your information is always in the limelight.

  • Quality: Like a fine wine, quality matters. If your signs have cluttered graphics or a jumbled layout, you might just blend into the background. Not everyone can be a Da Vinci of design, and that's okay. If you're not a Picasso with a palette, delegate the task to a professional. Remember, these signs are your ambassadors - they need to represent you well.

  • Promote Specialization: Just as a steak knife isn't ideal for buttering toast, one sign doesn't fit all situations. Signs are pretty affordable to customize - use a commercial sign for commercial listings and a residential sign for residential ones. Show your versatility and avoid being a one-hit wonder.

  • Brand Orientation: Ensure your signs are 'Brand You'. Of course, we need the obligatory RE/MAX Solutions logo, but make sure it's all about YOU. Picture yourself as the lead singer of the band, easily recognizable amidst the ensemble of Brevard County Realtors®.

  • Professional Photos: If you're planning to put a picture on your sign, think Hollywood, not home photo booth. A professional headshot can make all the difference.

  • Riders: And now for my absolute favorite - the Riders. This is your chance to be creative and make your sign stand out like a comedian at a statisticians conference. So go ahead, jazz it up with a rider. Need some ideas? I've got you.
