Collect and Prepare Contacts for CRM

Recap of our Workshop on how to collect and prepare your Contacts for CRM – Link corrected

The primary goal of the workshop is to help prepare for your CRM data collection.  Where are your contacts?  How will you organize them?

The attached package gives a bit of an overview of what fields are in the CRM.  The exercises will help you identify all of the places you have your contacts.  For example, cinc, flex, gmail, your phone, social media, etc.  You likely have contacts in multiple locations.

The exercises will also walk you through ideas of how you want to categorize your contacts.  This is important to consider as we want to make sure that you have an opportunity to think through how you will organize contacts to make it easier for you to market to them.

The other key thing to consider is that you also collect all of your sphere of influence contacts that you may not have added anywhere as of yet.  Check out this post to remind yourself of other contacts that you may want to add to the CRM.  Print out the graphic so you can be sure all of these types of contacts are included.  These are your people.  Dont forget them.
