Who hasn’t found out a friend or family member bought or listed their house with another REALTOR? It happens to all of us and it is our own fault. It is not your friends, family and past clients’ jobs to remember what you do for a living. And if you aren’t reminding them then they are only seeing you as Aunt Linda, Tom’s Wife or Kaila’s Mom.
If you aren’t fully leveraging your Sphere of Influence you are leaving deals on the table.
You need to have a campaign for your sphere of influence that includes multiple and different touches. One way to automate a nice sphere touch is with an e-mail newsletter. A monthly newsletter sent via e-mail automatically will give you 12 touches to your database. You can include friends, family, past clients and leads – every person in your flex should be getting an email newsletter as well. You can set it and forget it by using the RE/MAX Design Center.
All you need to do is upload your contacts into Design Center and Turn on the Email campaign. Each month you will get a reminder to make any modifications, and to add a listing you’d like to highlight. This is not required. If you do nothing the template will go out and it contains useful information and your branding.
