Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation course

Fellow members,

As a real estate professional and a member, I have personally experienced the immense value of NAR’s educational resources and understand the challenges we encounter in today’s ever-evolving real estate landscape. That is why I am glad to share that throughout 2024, NAR is making the popular Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation course, which is typically $295, available to REALTORS® at no cost.

The ABR® course is the first step toward earning the ABR® designation and focuses on the key information and skills we need today when working with buyers, including how to:

  • Walk buyers through written buyer representation agreements.

  • Advocate for our clients’ best interests throughout the transaction.

  • Articulate their value to the buyer-client.

  • Work with data to complete insightful market analyses.

  • Explain the range of financing options available to clients.

  • Stay on top of emerging trends.

  • Build relationships that carry beyond the closing.

It’s critical that buyers have access to professional representation during what, for many, is the biggest investment of their lives. Through NAR’s partnership with the Center for REALTOR® Development, every REALTOR® can take advantage of this no-cost offer to enhance their ability to articulate and demonstrate their value to buyer clients.

I encourage you to take advantage of this incredible offer and share it with colleagues in your market. Get started at become.abr.realtor. The first live interactive webinar is scheduled for February 27th, with ten more sessions already scheduled through July, and more to come throughout the year. Members can also take the course online at their own pace.

Thank you for your engagement and commitment to advancing our profession.

Warm regards,

Kevin
